Everything in Rails and it’s environment is changing so fast. Developers have no time to create proper install & usage guides. You’ll have to figure out on your own — everything.
This is nasty but you don’t have any other choices. There is a total chaos around Rails and you must create the order. Which is very possible, you only need patience &&& a good knowledge-base TOOL for yourself.
Don’t forget ::: books, tutorials, code snippets, how-to’s are almost all obsolete. You’ll have to spend time figuring out which is the best approach, and how to work around the always arising problems.
